What we cover, day by day

Each day builds on the one before it. By day five your child is finishing games, not just moving pieces around.

  1. Day 1

    Intro, Rook & Bishop

The board, how a game works, and the two pieces that teach straight lines and diagonals.

  2. Day 2

    Queen, Pawn & Knight

The most powerful piece, the most misunderstood one, and the only piece that jumps.

  3. Day 3

    King, Restrictions & Check

Why the king moves the way it does, what a piece may not do, and what check actually means.

  4. Day 4

    Defending Check

The three ways out — move, block, capture — and how to spot which one is available.

  5. Day 5

    Checkmate

Finishing a game properly, so your child can beat someone rather than only survive.

  6. 🎓

    Certificate

Awarded in your child's name at the end of day 5, with study material to keep.

What's included

Certificate on completion

A certificate in your child's name at the end of day five — the first thing many of them put on a wall.

Study material included

Notes and practice positions for each day, so the learning does not stop when the call ends.

Taught live, not recorded

A real coach teaching on a live call, with time set aside for questions at the end of every session.

Built for absolute beginners

We start at 'this is a rook'. No prior chess, no board at home, nothing to buy.

Our students win things

The coaches running this workshop are the same ones who took these children from their first game to a podium.

Questions parents ask

How do I pay?+

Not on this page. Once you register we call you and share payment details over WhatsApp. Your seat is confirmed once the fee is paid.

My child has never played chess. Is that a problem?+

That is exactly who this is for. Day one starts with the board itself. Children who already play tournaments will find it too slow — talk to us about regular classes instead.

What age is it for?+

Ages 5 to 16. If your child is younger and already interested, call us — we have started children at four before.

What do we need?+

A laptop or tablet with a working camera and a quiet corner. No physical chess set needed; we play on screen.

What if we miss a day?+

Tell us and we will help your child catch up before the next session. The days build on each other, so try not to miss day one.

Do we have to continue after the workshop?+

No. The workshop is complete in itself, with its own certificate. If you want regular classes afterwards we will happily talk, and if you do not, that is the end of it.
