About the role

  • bulletYou will teach kids to build things they are proud of — games in Scratch, small Python programs, and their first web pages.
  • bulletThe curriculum exists; we need someone who can deliver it with energy and adapt it when a student needs a different route in.

What you'll do

  • bulletDeliver live online coding classes for students aged 7-16
  • bulletGuide students through hands-on projects and capstone builds
  • bulletReview student work and give practical, encouraging feedback
  • bulletKeep session notes and progress records up to date

What we're looking for

  • bulletWorking knowledge of Scratch and Python; HTML/CSS basics
  • bulletAbility to explain a concept three different ways without losing patience
  • bulletPrior experience with children is strongly preferred
  • bulletReliable laptop, webcam and stable internet

Nice to have

  • bulletExperience with JavaScript or micro:bit / robotics kits
  • bulletBackground in computer science education
