My children began their coding journey with NextGen Mindz in September 2024, marking their first foray into coding. - How old does my child need to be?
- We teach children from 5 to 16. Coaches group children by what they can already do rather than by age alone, so a confident seven year old is not held back and a beginner of twelve is not rushed.
- Is the first class really free?
- Yes. The demo class is free, runs about 45 minutes, and needs no card details. You are welcome to sit in and watch the whole thing.
- What can my child learn with you?
- Chess, coding, Rubik's cube and abacus. Each is taught as a term of live classes with the same coach throughout, not as recorded video.
- Are the classes online or in person?
- Classes are live online, so your child can join from anywhere. We also run in-person chess coaching in Goa.
- Can my child learn one to one?
- Yes. You can choose small group classes or one to one with a coach, and switch between them if your child would do better the other way.
- Does my child get a certificate?
- Yes. Courses finish with a certificate, and study material is included with the class.
- What do we need for the first class?
- A laptop, tablet or phone with a working camera and an internet connection. We send the joining link by email before the class; nothing needs installing.
- How do we start?
- Book a free demo class. We call to agree a time that suits you, your child meets the coach, and you decide afterwards whether to carry on.
